Aurora Sports Health Athletic Training Services
The Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club is proud to partner with the Aurora Sports Health network to provide our athletes with a licensed athletic trainer.
(Nate please provide write up)
Our club’s athletic trainer is Alyssa Gorecki. She is originally from Monee, IL. Alyssa played Division I ice hockey at the University of Vermont where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Movement Science in May 2019. After graduation, she continued her education at Marquette University where she got her Master’s of Science in Athletic Training.
Our sports medicine team is dedicated to providing excellent care. If your son or daughter sustains a sports-related injury, they may visit the athletic training facility at no charge (located inside the Milwaukee Sting Center). Alyssa does an excellent job of assessing the situation and recommending treatment options.
If an athlete needs a physician referral for further evaluation and diagnosis, Alyssa can help set-up an appointment with a sports medicine specialist at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Hours & Schedule
(Nate provide write up for SWAY)
In addition to the weekly hours at the Milwaukee Sting Center, athletes’ parents can also contact a Froedtert licensed athletic trainer through the Healthy Roster app on your phone (free of charge from Froedtert & MCW). Healthy Roster is a mobile app/website program connecting parents and coaches with licensed athletic trainers from Froedtert & MCW. Additionally, parents can receive updates on their child’s injury through the Healthy Roster app. To get started using Healthy Roster, look for your e-mail invite and accept the invite to access your child’s account. If you do not receive an invite, please contact your Froedtert & MCW licensed athletic trainer to be added.
